My Story
I am dealing with lower back pain since 2 years now. The first year was not so severe but second year was terrible. I used to get muscle catch every now and then. I used to get stuck in a position and any small movement caused blinding pain in my lower back. My back was jammed I felt helpless and terrible. Doctor's diagnoses was disc degeneration but cause not known. For years I have been practicing yoga and was very regular on exercise. I am not overweight. In short I am highly disciplined about my health. I am a classical dancer. Dance is my passion but when all this started I stopped everything. It was yoga where I first got stuck. I am scared of doing anything now. Leave any form of physical activity I couldn't sit for more than 15-20 min without pain. My fears increased and each day each moment I was only in pain. I took a break worked from home for 3 months went for physiotherapy. Where I used to do head stands and shoulder stands I couldn't even sit crossed leg or do anything without shaking my body parts. I started slow physiotherapy regular guided exercise and eliminated pain by 70% , I have continued physio exercises and now can sit longer but still not free from pain. Still some nights I am stuck and feel jammed. My legs shake in few physical activities. The situation is better but my confidence is not regained. I want to dance freely again. I want to do yoga fearless and dance with my heart. - Loading...
