Two Conflicting Approaches

    1. Gentle Compassion: Allowing yourself to slow down, cry, feel it all, take more naps etc.

    2. Tough Love: Tell yourself to stop avoiding it, get on with the activity, and briefly shift your attention back to something productive.

    The thing is, both Rest Mode and Action Mode both feel good, but when you feel like resting when you're supposed to be working, or feel like working when you're supposed to be resting, it feels so frustrating. You have to find a balance.

    There are so many great options and viewpoints on here to choose from, but it can be difficult to just pick one in the moment.
