The Stress Illness Recovery Practitioner's Association (SIRPA) is based in the United Kingdom and they run a comprehensive training program for health professionals and coaches who wish to develop their understanding of TMS/PPD and integrate the approach into their work with their own clients. SIRPA also run 2 day experiential courses around the UK for people with TMS/PPD who feel they would benefit from professional support and advice.

SIRPA was created by Chartered Physiotherapist, Georgie Oldfield, who is the author of Chronic Pain: Your key to recovery and began her work with TMS/PPD in 2007. Dave Clarke MD, who is the author of They Can't Find Anything Wrong and board member of the Psychophysiologic Disorders Association offers his services as International Clinical Advisor.

SIRPA was officially launched on October 9, 2010 at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University. Both Georgie Oldfield and Dave Clarke spoke at the launch and discussed their experiences treating patients with TMS and the direction of the organization. All medical and mental health professionals, the media, and the general public were invited to attend the free of charge launch.
