Hello there!! Seeking some advice! I am an over thinker and have obsessive tendencies I can easily admit. I have been trying so hard not to get distracted by the pain but I always go ten steps backwards no matter how hard I try. I’ve experimented with a few different methods mentioned and I can’t get anything to work. Anytime I bend or mode it feels like the ligaments in my low back attached or my hip are tearing. The entirety of my low back feels swollen and heavy 24/7 as well. Any insight would be amazing!

    Hi AmeliaReinheart,

One idea is to focus on pleasure and satisfaction. All the little sensual moments ---music, beauty, simple movement, your breath, social time, pleasure. These moments are needed every day, every hour. This to me is helpful as an antidote to the over-busy mind. Inner tension tends to be increased when we're monitoring and trying to fix symptoms....

Good luck and hope others will have some advice too!

    Andy
