Breathing technique to switch off fight-flight response

    Interesting, @zclesa ! I do use breathing when I need to calm down, but I keep forgetting that it's widely recommended to make the exhale longer. Now that I've read this scientific explanation, I won't forget it again! I particularly like the advice about visualizing the transmitter substance/ACh/"vagusstoff" being produced and slowing down the exhalation heartbeat.
