    Hello again,

Can TMS cause swelling of a body part and if so, how does this happen?

    Thanks again.

Swelling is possible. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome causes enormous swelling, yet is nothing but extreme form of TMS.

I've read that some people have had swelling from TMS to the point that they have leg lift from their swollen region...

Now without trying to offend anyone or claim that your swelling isn't there, but if you are like me you've been rubbing and feeling the region that hurts in search of something out of place or swollen to show you that it is indeed physical... I'll catch myself still comparing one side to the other to see if it feels different because I think one side is slightly swollen. . this is how TMS works, you get stuck on the physical

So if you think this could be the issue, shift the focus from trying to prove something is swollen to that it isn't.. I've been having success with that a little bit lately

Again, I don't know your exact situation but trying to give a little help from what I've been through
