I just want to warn people that using things like AI for help and prompts can be dangerous.

I used it earlier today to be told that central sensitisation and the like cant be cured and u can only hope fir partial relief.

And you should accept the fact you probably stay in pain.

I am now feeling completely hopeless

One fallible AI query and you’re completely hopeless? You get hopeless too easily. This work takes grit, faith and tenacity. It takes learning to motivate yourself with hope every day. Our healing is based on the example of thousands who have done it. Not on what anyone or any bot says.

I just found a cool book. I love it, in fact. It’s called:
How to Stubbornly Refuse to Make Yourself Miserable About Anything, Yes Anything! By Albert Ellis

    Check it out!

Great time to ask yourself what you truly believe, and where your trust lies...what a fantastic journaling topic!
Your goal is to trust YOURSELF. Use your common sense to think of why you might trust a robot over your own mind.

That's a good warning, but you weren't just saying that... you wrote "I am now feeling completely hopeless" and @Diana-M and @Cactusflower were responding to that. We don't want fellow forum members to be "feeling hopeless"! I've read a lot of your postings and I've noticed that your lizard brain is so often 'doing a number on you' and making you so bloomin' pessimistic! Diana and Cactus, and now I, are just encouraging you to take a reality check. Like Cactus says, ask yourself what do you truly believe?

(As I've said, I agree with your advice/warning though, of course... AI collects all sorts of information to include anecdotal stuff and it is known for 'hallucinations'. It's great for doing a sweep of the Internet to save oneself time, but one always has to look up the links to where it's getting its information and cross check things, just like one should do if one's manually searching the Internet. AI is not the definitive oracle, far from it.)

Anyway, going back to the 'reality check'... What is 'central sensitisation'? It's aka 'fibromyalgia syndrome'. And what did Dr Sarno say so called 'fibromyalgia syndrome' is? He said it's mind/body/TMS! And do people fully recover from 'fibromyalgia'/TMS? Yes, they do! I was diagnosed with so called 'fibromyalgia' and my symptoms made me totally bedridden for over 18 months and housebound for many years, but then I started doing mind/body work which has gradually led me to now be functioning really well by comparison... and I am continuing to improve; there is no way that full recovery isn't on the cards for me, that's how I view it (but 'partial' recovery thus far has been and continues to be marvellous and I am grateful for it). If you do 'the work', whatever your mind/body/TMS symptoms are, you can recover too! Stand up to your TMSing lizard brain and tell it you know what it's doing (i.e. making you pessimistic) and that you're just not having it!
