My Story
Nine years age I started having on again off again back pain. I tried physical therapy, acupuncture, ralfing, chiro, all sorts of things. During a painful back episode my husband (while he was drunk) accidentally injured my neck. Even though it was an accident he had been acting like an idiot and it caused me huge emotional pain, along with physical pain. So, of coarse now I was trying all sorts of different things to cure my constant, unbearable neck pain. Within a year of injuring my neck it became painful to have my left arm even lightly touched, and now I experience pain even if someone approaches me on my left or comes from behind me. I know I have TMS and I have worked with Dr Schubner many times and I will get a little better and have lots of hope and then I spiral down again and the pain gets worse. Now it even seems like having hope is a trigger to my pain. I got in contact with Dr S recently and he would like my to try new medication. It was not what I thought he would say, I think he is even giving up on me that there is any hope. - Loading...
