Looking down on myself, I’m working the program. I’m my usual seriously involved self, a rule follower who wants to participate to the fullest. (Perhaps my determined personality will serve me.)

For me, the most revealing issues are to be found in the topics I’m journaling. As suggested, the most unexpected things emerge, others are not a surprise and some are totally off-topic. Although gut-wrenching and exhausting, I feel as though I’m getting through some protective layers that are not healthy. Being lain bare, being vulnerable, seeing and feeling these aspects of myself is instructive, even healing. I think the spontaneity in writing about my topics is the most helpful part of the program so far. The results are decreased pain in my back and buttocks, increased discomfort from LPR and GERD, and new symptoms that are plugged ears, fatigue, a lump in my throat, stuffed nose, eye and forehead pressure and anxiety from the shift.
