Day 1 About my pain

I have pain in my abdomen and core, on the fronts of my thighs and up to the tops of my hip bones. I have pain in my hands and arms also. And in my lower back. Sometimes my armpits. It does tend to move. It is worst when I sit down. I cannot sit. I live with a heating pad. It’s embarrassing.

My pain began when I was experiencing pain because of a hip impingement, as diagnosed. I had surgery. After I got off crutches, bilateral and continuous hip pain set in. It’s been awful for months since.

The pain is unlike any other pain I have felt before. The closest adjective is burning. it never goes away. The best is when I am walking.

Much of the TMS diagnosis fits me. I was an absolute wreck of depression and fear prior to my operation. I was a ghost. I also had career issues before that, and self-imposed health fears.
