Day 8 Becoming a Believer Again

One of my issues has been a shoulder impingement in my right shoulder. I have had this issue flare up many times over the last 17 years. The reason I say 17 years is because I had a snowboarding accident where I broke my right arm just below the shoulder. They never checked out my shoulder and I have had these flare ups so I just always attributed the pain to that injury. But the body is such an amazing healing machine. How could there still be a lingering issue from that long ago...there can't be.

Well, in January of this year I was painting a room and a flare up began and it hasn't gone away for almost 3 months. Past flare ups lasted a few days at most and then I got on with my life. This time has been different. I just painted my daughter's bedroom this week and the pain and agony that has resurfaced is almost unbearable. It's really affecting my daily life and my mindset.

Even though I thought I had accepted and bought into the TMS diagnosis for some other issues I have, for this, I have still been thinking this particular issue is structural. That is...until I read Peg's post from day 8 today. She had very similar symptoms and she accepted the TMS concept for her shoulder impingement and it was resolved.

I literally just bought the "Shoulder Reliever" yesterday to help strengthen the shoulder joint as the reviews were amazing. But in reality, I just have TMS and need to accept it.

Thank you to this group, this website, and all of the people that share their knowledge and experiences. I am truly grateful for this resource to help me be the best I can be.
