The disheartening thing...it was more than one:

    1. Physiotherapist: I won´t even touch you with this spine - far too dangerous.
    2. Physiotherapist: Your backline is completely overstretched and has no strength at all.
    3. Physiotherapist: Your body is absolutely overtired by your activity - ever thought about sports addiction? (I had been doing nothing more than zone 2 cycling 30 mins at a time for weeks - whereas I used to run 20-30 km/week + yoga + strength training). You have to stop all physical activity.
    4. MD: these are escalation steps. If pills are not working (they weren´t) we move to Magnetfields (not working) then to cortison injections and finally we can think about a operation.
    5. MD: Hmmm... if your sacrum hurts, try to point one foot outwards while walking (whaaaaaaaat???)
    6. MD: Take pain killers and go for a run.
    7. Physiotherapist: Pain is a serious signal from the body, Don´t ever take pain killers and go running.

    I could write for ages...

OMG, @BarbaraF71, Disheartening, yes, I totally get that. But also - and I really hope you can take this in the spirit in which it is intended - also kind of hilarious?

In the same way that you will eventually laugh at the ridiculous symptoms that your TMS brain will come up with to obviously try to distract you, this ridiculous conflict of opinions should be the first thing on your TMS evidence sheet which proves that you're not dealing with a physiologically based condition that can be treated physically.

And also, laughter really is the best medicine.

    Keep going! And, BTW, Welcome!
