    Encouragement please.
I am struggling at the moment with back spasms and nerve pain which is a lot more intense than normal.I have been exercising in the pool ,prompted by my GP who says I am deconditioned.I have outlined my cancer journey last year on here I also have COPD from the radiation and chronic kidney disease. What puzzles me is why my legs (thigh muscles) are so weak ,whether it has anything to do with the spondylolisthesis. Also my balance is not good and I have bruises from walking into doors.
Now thinking psychologically I now have morning anxiety which mostly abates as the day goes on..I am suffering grief from having to rehome my little dog 18months ago and was found a few weeks ago wandering the streets ,the people I had given him to ,whom I thought would be good carers had neglected him and he had to have 28 teeth out.He is now in a good home. That broke my heart.
I most definitely have a TMS personality and I realise fear has come in to play

Wow, you have A LOT going on. Practicing self compassion is important. You don't say if you are journaling or not. I think writing out all that you are struggling with and how it makes you feel is important. Just write a page or two and then throw it away--getting the emotional pain, fear and anxiety out.

Hang in there. It can take some time to feel results.
