Forgivess can lower your anxiety level

    This is from Dr. Hanscom’s TMS healing app, the DOC app. (DOC stands for Direct your Own Care). It’s about forgiveness— something Dr. H promotes for healing.

    Since starting his app a couple months ago I am definitely feeling my anxiety level go down. This is good news because anxiety creates adrenaline and adrenaline creates symptoms. Here are some quotes from the app:

    “You are never going to wake up one day and feel that you are ready to give up your anger. Instead, you have to keep making an ongoing choice to forgive.


    Most of the work involves becoming aware that you are in a victim role. Then, you have to decide to change this role. There is no magic. It is a simple intellectual choice of, “I don’t want to continue being a victim.”
