What was the most disheartening thing a doctor has told you about your symptoms?

The physical therapist told me that I should stop doing anything if it would aggravate the neck pain. And my Primary doctor told me once I had symptoms of Hypochondria. But overall my Primary and Orthopedic Doctor never told me I could not do something. They actually encourage me to keep doing what I was doing and that there was no reason to stop.
