How to adjust your mindset

    Lately, there have been a LOT of posts about mindset - either an awareness or complete lack of awareness of how our mindset and our thoughts are effecting our emotions and our body.
    People often struggle with this, it can seem really hard, but it's actually not.
    Here's a 2 minute video explaining how you can begin to do it, by changing how you speak to yourself.
    THIS is the meaning behind "positive psychology". No, it's not all a bed of roses and happy thoughts of roses and sunshine. It's seeing the sunshine on the horizon and CHOOSING to think that it is right there, in your grasp. This is the type of positive psychology that can actually work for you.
    We can't see how long or winding the road is to get to that spot, but we can still choose to see it, and choose to reframe our thoughts consistently to get there (consistency doesn't mean EVERY single time or you are a complete failure. It means you begin somewhere, a few times a day or a week and then it begins to come easier more often and then it begins to become habit and then finally a default way of thinking. You are TRAINING your brain to re-frame thoughts.
    It's really so simple.
