Itching or skin issue success stories?

    Hey all,

I’ve been suffering from chronic vulval itching for over 2 years, and I’m really at the end of my rope.

I’ve been making learning about TMS and trying to apply the theory/exercises my second full time job, but I really need some evidence that it can get better for my symptom.

I’ve seen no success stories on chronic itching anywhere and I really feel like I need at least one as hope. I also have visible redness and skin changes on my vulva so being pointed in the direction of any skin success stories would be SO APPRECIATED!

    Love to all.

I was just typing a response while you were posting. It's on the anal itching question.

Yes, I have a perm-itch spot on my leg that only bothers when I am under pressure. I Imagine like pain, it just chooses somewhere you'll be likely to believe and that is good and distracting

Thank you for replying! It’s definitely distracting!! What helps you when you’re itchy?

Turning my mind and thinking about what might be bothering me that I am not aware of yet. This skill came from reading Sarno's books. It is always something my conscious mind doesn't have time to deal with

These videos and comments on the linked post may be helpful! Abigail had itching with her vulvodynia and she healed. However I will say that if you are trying to find someone with your exact symptoms, it’s going to make it harder to heal from TMS. No two people will have the same symptoms and no two people will have the same experiences that lead to TMS! The more you try to find someone, the more fear you build when you can’t. It will only keep your nervous system on high alert. I have vulvar itch but it’s fading. Mine was due to “pudendal neuralgia” which is a big TMS condition. I don’t care about my symptoms anymore as I know they will just fade away in time. The key is to not give them power. Live your life!

Thank you for these videos, that is really helpful will defo watch. And I also really take your point and its like i know that myself, I think my visual symptoms are what’s been stopping me from believing, because there are much LESS similar stories out there. But I totally agree with you and think you’re right that it won’t be helping me
