Day 6 Kinda om...

    I have been trying Nicole Sachs' JournalSpeak practice in the mornings and thus meditate after that. I've always been one to swear I can't meditate but I have found some luck with Insight Timer and several of the guided meditations as opposed to flying solo. The self affirmation practices and a couple for promoting feelings of safety and not being broken have been great. I've found with guidance I do much better. I highly encourage anyone to check it out, thousands of free practices of all types!

    Good on you for exploring ways of helping yourself! I cannot begin to count the books and videos I’ve referenced over the years to just stay sane. To know you’re not alone and that others are also seeking to understand their body’s reactions to fear, trauma, rage and sadness can be a comfort. Keep pushing through this and please believe in happy endings. With knowledge and determination, I know we can overcome anything. We are made most miraculously.
