So I have posted about my wrist and elbow here before. I certainly have TMS/neuroplastic history with my back, that I have overcome for most part. Then I got back into physical activity and my elbow and wrist started bothering me. I have suspected mind body dynamics to it, and I know some of my symptoms are. Meeting with someone online from Alan Gordon’s office in LA, and they initially recommended me get mri’s to rule out structural causes. Does anyone know what these mean or if you think this confirms structural causes? I’m nervous to go to a doctor cuz I don’t want them to further drive fear of diagnosis , etc. like all my lumbar spine MRI’s did.
Pictures of my mri results below.

    thanks in advance.

No one on this forum should be commenting on your MRI findings unless they are medically qualified. Please make an appointment with a TMS doctor if it is essential to you to receive a medical opinion.

The vast majority of us are self-diagnosed with TMS after medical professionals have said that they can't find anything wrong, OR the things they "found" are, as Dr. Sarno said, minimally or not even connected to the symptoms, OR they've "found" something but the only solutions offered have a poor record of helping (and in many instances, have been harmful) because the so-called professionals still don't actually know what the underlying problem is, so all they are doing is trying to mitigate symptoms. If they're just mitigating symptoms and offer a so-called diagnosis that simply parrots the symptoms, it's probably TMS.

Look up "inflammation and stress" for an education in the physiology of the stress response and the nature of inflammation.

Thanks for your thoughts! Not asking for any diagnosis from anyone. Just curious if others have seen things like this on their own MRI’s and what it meant for them. I was advised to do this and just feel like I’m no closer to understanding if it’s structural or mindbody.

    I have to agree with @JanAtheCPA .
The scans should be read by a qualified physician and nobody here is that, and just a reminder that the tech is also not a physician. They are just a tech.
A TMS doctor should be able help you rule anything out, many consult by video or email etc. if you don't have one close to you.

Thanks! Does anyone have any docs on here that they recommend? I’m in Nebraska and haven’t been able to find any near me.

The PPD Association at ppdassociation.org has a Practitioner Directory by locale which indicates if the docs will do remote consultations across state lines.
