Neck pain is back

Thanks to dr Sarno, I've been pain free for almost two years but then over time I developed tinnitus and popped ears. To shift it, I've been reading dr Sarno again, on YouTube listening to steve ozanich, devouring everything I can about tms as I felt so uncomfortable with tinnitus. It took time but it's disappeared, I was elated, but the neck pain is back. I know about the symptom imperative and have been doing my homework with Nicole Sachs on YouTube. I'm just despondent as it's really painful. I suppose the neck pain is a tad preferable to tinnitus and ear popping but I'm surprised it's back. Any advice gratefully received.
