Neuropathic pain can be especially frightening.

Hi, I really want to believe that those of us who have this kind of pain can achieve remission, however, I don't see many success stories with this type of symptom. Now, what if the pain is electric or moves around during the day like mine in my arms, or in other parts of the body? I hope it's possible because every day is a struggle against fear.

Hi @Alouqua47 , I too was looking for success stories along these lines. There are many on this forum that have described nerve pain/neuropathy of one kind or another, I would suggest just going through the success stories subforum. There are a number of great success story videos on Dan Buglio's Youtube channel, many of which involve neuropathy of one kind or another.

I have had plenty of sensations similar to what you're describing. Tingling and static electricity feeling in my lower and upper back, hands, fingertips, face and the tip of my nose, all kinds of stuff that comes and goes (or came and went—much of my neuropathy is gone now most days!). I won't list everything because there's no point in focusing on symptoms. But the short answer is yes, you can definitely achieve remission. Mine has already improved a good amount in the past month since committing to TMS healing and following the SEP, journaling, exercising, etc.

I had electric shocks. I still have some pain (much, much less!) and tightness but the shocks disappeared after I was able to understand that it was all caused my muscle and mind tension and stopped fearing these symptoms.

@Alouqua47 I had all kinds of nerve pains (that moved around) ranging from irritating tingling (nose, upper lip, scalp, little finger) to sciatica-like sensations from my buttock down one leg to the knee and sometimes down to the ankle, and radiating pain and electric shocks across my 'saddle' area with pins and needles and numbness (the latter if I sat for more than a few minutes) plus pudendal neuralgia-like pain in my groin/private parts and tingling and pain from my left shoulder down to my left wrist and then into my hand and fingers (somewhat reminiscent of carpal tunnel syndrome)... All gone now with doing mind/body work. Many of us on these forums aren't fully recovered - yet (e.g. I have some residual pain in my sacro-iliac areas when I sit on hard surfaces for a while, but in due course I know that that will go with continuing to do mind/body practises) so, for the time being, we haven't added our recovery stories on the success stories sub forum. The thing to remember is that the brain really can create all sorts of symptoms. I suffered a whole myriad of them.
