Hi guys, been a forum on an off dweller for 3 years now.

Quick intro - succesfully beat TMS fibromyalgia 3 years ago after discovering Sarno and Alans work. Since then there have been on and off with many symptom imperatives and started working seriously on it this winter again - slowing down my life, focusing on self-compassion. Currently dealing with itchy/flaky skin on my face and scalp - seborrheic dermatitis, dry eyes and dry lips. Was wondering if anyone else had dry/inflamed lips + skin?

Also nice to meet you everyone, hope to be more active here :)

    Hi John,

Your success story is one of my inspirations, thank you so much for sharing it :) Did you just have inflamed skin next to your nose or on other facial areas too? Did you find that yours were flaky?

I'm glad it gives you hope! My face was flaky, itchy, and red but the pain everywhere. Wearing a T-shirt hurt or leaving my arms on my lap or laying down.

Did you ever had the skin symptoms checked out or get a name for them? Just curious :)

A dermatologist diagnosed me with something but I don't remember what she said. At that point I already knew it was just systemic inflammation.

Yeah the thing i'm struggling the most is that the skin keeps getting worse for the past half a year - more and more area is getting flaky/inflamed

My skin issue got worse over a 2 year period I think then took another year to calm down. Inflammation is an extremely common mindbody issue.

If you've never made a commitment to doing a comprehensive program to deal with the underlying emotional components of stress-base symptoms, now is the time. Many people find that knowledge alone isn't enough, and they have to do the tough, sometimes scary, emotional work. Your TMS brain will resist, but the fact is that you've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Our Structured Educational Program on the main TMSWiki.org is completely free of cost or obligation or even registration.

Thanks Jan, nice to connect, yeah I've read Alan Gordon's programme and actually am doing a lot of somatic therapy work that helps with emotional expression + working with a therapist from the PPC.

I get minor rashes on my ankles and wrists sounds weird but that's what it is I put some Benadryl cream at night but I know it's stress as soon as I calm down it goes away right now dealing with a bit of allergies hay fever type going through quite a busy time all that being said I don't stress it go with the flow know what it is I've been at this so long I don't bother anymore I stop think and relax and just say to myself what am I thinking and what is going on now you can make a short list if you want or just think about it putting things in perspective just makes it more clear to see obviously always get medical opinion on any condition first just my two cents
