I've been extensively researching nutritional therapy on what supplements to take to heal anxiety. I've tried just about every supplement you can think of. I've spent countless hours watching videos on how to repair the brain and restore proper neurotransmitter balance to correct anxiety. I've tried anti inflammatories, vitamins, etc. Absolutely NOTHING works to alleviate my anxiety whatsoever. Why is anxiety so insanely difficult to treat? I really hoped maybe my brain just had a imbalance of GABA which could be corrected by taking the right supplements but part of me figured that if it's a TMS thing, any kind of supplemental or nutritional treatment isn't likely to help at all. I know people do not like using the term disorder here, but I am quite sure I have some sort of anxiety disorder. It is NOT normal to have this kind of severe anxiety 24/7 that cannot be turned off.

How is your diet? Do you exercise/work out? Where do you keep/focus your attention during the day?

I think it takes more than supplements to heal anxiety. Most people on this wiki name meditation as the cure for them. A number of years ago that worked for me. I meditated 30 min. A day and then eventually 2x a day. And it soothed my nervous system. You can calm yourself. It’s called hypersensitivity. Your nerves are shot. Read Hope and Help for your Nerves, by Claire Weekes, MD. It’s a monumental book.

OMG, @m8888888, this is an amazing resource - which is reeeally long, so I only skimmed through and I'd like to think I will get back to it, but - wow! I see lots of references to Claire Weekes, to Fight/Flight vs Rest/Digest, and to many other anxiety topics CLEARLY being presented from the position that the solution is from within ourselves. I loved the introduction.

I'm bookingmarking your post and adding the blog to my list of favorite resources! What a find!
