Today I'm feeling sensitivity in my throat. When I started the program the pain was in my knee and now it's back to my throat (this is where I have previously had pain). So why do I have no pain yesterday and pain today- WHAT"s DIFFERENT?! Well, I think I know. Professionally, I am taking on a new project and yesterday was my first face to face meeting with my colleague about it! It's exciting and I am 99% sure that the anxiety around this project is showing up in my throat.

So I am talking to my brain about it. I am acknowledging what is going on in my life that is causing this throat sensitivity.

Does anyone else out there notice flare ups like this when something new comes up that is out of your comfort zone??

Hi, trichick2. I definitely have experienced pain symptoms when I start a new project or have to meet as you did. It's called anxiety and that is one of the main causes of TMS. But it's wonderful that you recognize this and that it is showing up in your throat or other part of your body.
We want to live in an emotional comfort zone all the time, but life has a way of interfering with that. Knowing it is psychological and TMS helps us to deal with it.

Be patient with yourself and your colleague in the new project.
