Reading a book related to Quantum Physics last night and the author mentioned how paradox is necessary for something new to emerge -- makes possible a new more powerful aspect that couldn't have been without holding the two opposing views. This seems relevant to a lot of what I have been thinking about on this journey. e.g. I have doubts, but still a vision of fully healing, etc.

Apparently, this is similar to Jung’s alchemical model, when two opposing forces are fully held, a third energy, a unifying insight or breakthrough, often arises -- the space of the “transcendent function," where healing and revelation begin. My logical mind struggles with paradox in so many ways, but this has given me some food for thought, especially when so much about doing the exercises in the program and such can seem paradoxical.

    Symptoms keep on coming.
I've linked many of them in my mind to the heat (since they emerged coincident with the summer months). So, with temps over 100, TMS brain loving the opportunity to spin things intensely and even ramp up with some new ones for the season (hello knee pain I have never had before?!). BUT, the gentle reminder to myself that it really isn't about heat - e.g. in the nighttime often after taking a hot shower and even getting my skin under hot water, everything cools down on my skin and is often better than it is all day - likely because nervous system is soothed. And, people pay lots of money to sit in saunas for their healing potential, so maybe it could actually be healing to experience a bit of the heat. I even moved to an area where it would be warm all year because I used to love love love the heat and felt so healthy in it. Soooooooo, it's really not about the heat so much as what it "means" or even what it might mean.
