Hello I’ve been struggling with foot pain off and on for about a year. The symptoms are textbook plantar fasciitis: heel pain, painful first morning steps, etc.

I’m wondering if anyone has had plantar fasciitis inflammation diagnosed on ultrasound and still treated it successfully as TMS.

Like any symptom that shows up on imaging, what is "seen" is real. Inflammation is real. The CAUSE of inflammation is now just being fully understood by science.
"Dr. David Hanscom, an orthopedic surgeon, connects chronic pain to the body's heightened inflammatory response triggered by stress and psychological threats, not just physical ones. He emphasizes that chronic disease, including pain, stems from sustained inflammation"

Stress creates chemicals in the body which, in turn, create inflammation. When we get injured, there is stress - on the physical body within our emotional state that create these chemicals of inflammation. Same as when we have illnesses that cause (or are caused) inflammation.

Beginning by reading a book by Dr. John Sarno - you might like The Divided Mind because there is a patient with a history of foot discomfort in it, is the way to start.

Follow that by beginning the free program which outlines the work he suggests (plus some more techniques) at TMSWIKI.org and scroll down to see the Structured Educational Program

Let us know how you do! Welcome!
