    Hello everyone.
I wrote her before about my anal issues. I am trying TMS and until now without clear improvement.
I am on cipralex that helps my mood and anxiety.
Lately I was looking for other medication that can help to relax the muscles in the anal area.
I was recommended taking a drug name amitriptyline and it suppose to help with muscle and nerve pain.
I know its a forum for TMS and not for medications so I am not going to ask about medications.
although I was the one looking for the medication I have a feeling I should not be taking it. I feel it just make me obsessed more with the symptoms and keep checking them even more than usual and basically makes me feel worst.
what is your opinion about taking drugs with working on TMS at the same time?

It’s perfectly fine to take medication as long as you can fully understand that your pain is due to anxiety, and medication alone won’t fix the anxiety or your OCD like fixation without putting in the personal work over a period of time (which might be an extended period).
What are you doing to deal with TMS?

Thank you, I am trying to write about my anger and I try to think psychologically.
I am trying to let the symptoms be and not be afraid of them.
