I have had lower back pain / sciatica for 1 and a half years, with the occasional panic attack as a symptom imperative. I have previously shared on here about symptoms I have experienced throughout my life (I am 27, former college football player) including elbow pain, back pain, skin rash, migraines, etc.

I have read the mind body prescription many times, but recently just had a aha moment about the internal rage causing my symptoms. I started to feel noticeably better and even went on a 2 mile run (which I hadn’t been able to for a year). The run was painful but I powered through. It’s been a few days and my pain went backwards a bit. While I know the run didn’t actually cause the pain, I think it could be related to getting my hopes up about running pain free and when I couldn’t, it had a negative effect on my psyche.

Hi @Skiier1440 -your title says "first time doing SEP" so welcome to that - it sounds like your logical next step, which is to develop tools to manage your TMS.
