Day 7 Self Care Day Guilt/Worries

    I'm feeling very tired today but I feel like I've listened to my body well - I noticed the signs and have decided to take a self-care day and stay in. I checked the SEP to see what I would be doing today and was delighted to see it is a rest day - what beautiful timing!

    Since starting recovery (even before starting the SEP) I have found it difficult to take rest days/days off from learning about and focusing on TMS. I feel afraid that I'll ruin my progress if I do and that I won't get better. I feel this comes from my perfectionism, and try to remind myself that rest is always important and deserved. It gives the brain time to process things too I believe.

    Any other tips on dealing with these feelings or any other words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated :) For now, I'm going to get off this forum, turn my phone notifications off and go and play some Sims!
