Hello! I would like to share my story, so you can help me tell if it can be TMS. I had spinal cord injury 3 years ago in my thoracic-lumbar region,(this is not typical in TMS Group, thats why I am creating this post), and had different wild syndroms as numbness, weakness, pain in my back, tingling. When I had pain, my legs were strong, when I didnt have pain wy legs were weak.
Year after injury, I started job, because i wanted do something with my mind, and after maybe 2 months my pain and symptoms were gone (because i was soo stresful in my job, that I didnt remember about my body, i was really distracted). After 6 months of job, i had surgery, and after that I was symptom free for next half year, but the stressor and time of anger came and all started again. I am confused if its TMS or not, because my spinal cord was injured and I dont know how this works with pain, but i see that my symptoms are so Connected with my mood, stress. And also I am such a People pleaser with low self estime.
Could you help me? Can it be TMS or because of SCI rather not

Did this injury result from a vehicle accident?

The reason I asked the question is because an acute injury resulting from a traumatic incident will generally heal within an expected period of time. The onset of chronic pain without an acute incident is exactly what Dr Sarno teaches. Have you read his book Healing Back Pain?

I know, but spinal cord has really bad abilities to regenerate, so thats why I am asking :) and even when it is chronic i am curious if this symptoms should not be active in my body.
Yes, I read, and I believe that its tms, because the symptoms are migrating, and it can switch on and off when I am under stress, but I am rally confused.

Well, I'm going to list some beginning resources for you.

We can not diagnose you with TMS (and note our disclaimer on every page that you should be checked out by qualified medical professionals before assuming a mindbody condition). Many of us, probably most of us, diagnosed ourselves with TMS. This first questionnaire will help:
Take this free, quick self-assessment test from the PPD Association (the professional group of mindbody/TMS doctors, therapists and other practitioners): https://ppdassociation.org/ppd-self-questionnaire (Self Quiz — Psychophysiologic Disorders Association).

The ACEs "quiz" is a short Yes/No questionnaire to help you recognize how your childhood might be affecting your mental and physical health in adulthood. This thread explains the purpose and how to use the results of the test: https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/threads/aces-quiz-online-printable-versions.27061 (ACEs "quiz" - online & printable versions)

We also recommend that you visit the Success Stories subforum at https://www.tmswiki.org/forum/forums/success-stories-subforum.27/ (Success Stories Subforum). Reading just one Success Story every day is a great way to be inspired about doing this work. You can also put your symptoms into our search box and use the "more" (advanced) options to limit the results to the Success Stories subforum.

In addition to reading Healing Back Pain by Dr. John Sarno, I also recommend another book. Anxiety (which you clearly DO have) is a common TMS symptom, and needs to be addressed directly as part of the recovery process. Resources by Dr. Claire Weekes are very effective in dealing with anxiety. You can find more here: https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Overcome_Anxiety_with_Dr._Claire_Weekes (Overcome Anxiety with Dr. Claire Weekes) or read her seminal book "Hope & Help For Your Nerves" which is also readily available in multiple formats and has probably helped tens of thousands of people worldwide since it was published in 1969!

I recommend that as you are reading different things, that you also start the free Structured Educational Program on our main tmswiki.org website. It will teach you some of Dr. Sarno's methods and provide skills for your self-recovery. Among other things you will learn 1) to recognize that NONE of this is your fault, and 2) how to reframe your self-perception. The program is free and does not even require any kind of registration: https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Structured_Educational_Program (Structured Educational Program)
