Day 20 Success. Faced my fear of running.

    Hello all.

    I thought I would post also in case this helps
    somebody else.

    Earlier in this program I posted about my fear of running.
    Today I had been to a friends for dinner and
    I walked to the park after and ran??? Yay

    It felt so good to do it and I didn’t don’t care
    About my level of pain, I have realised the
    last couple of days that I “check” the tightness in my back hip quite a lot with my mind. So from now on I will stop that I
    ignore how tight my muscles and body are.

    This coming week I want to exercise gym
    most days and start lifting weights again.

    When I’m exercising I tell myself my brain
    this is good for me, I’m safe and all is well.

    I feel so happy I could run it’s a relief.

    Thank you for posting this! I have a lot of fear around fitness right now when it used to be my "happy place" - I have hope that it will get better eventually.
