Curious if anyone out there felt there was a certain question they wish they had asked their physician. Maybe a question that would elicit an answer to help move your belief (that you have neuroplastic pain) into more certainty?

ie, "is it anatomically possible for my pain to have shifted from this dully achey throb in my lumbar area to a sharp, pin pricky, burning in my groin and butt? does structural pain ever act that way?"

How the f**k can you believe the sh*t you were just dishing out to me? Those diplomas on the wall---are those even real?! What did they teach you?

ok, for real--I did get the chance to push several doctors about TMS over time.
And, it wasn't satisfying at all.

As we see so much on the forum, the wall of "Yes, but" is a formidable one. Can be fortress-like with doctors.
OR, I got the response that I was just lucky for now and better keep an eye out b/c those symptoms can come back any time.
OR, I was presented with a truly awful path forward that was expensive, time-consuming, and involved specialists that are hard to get appts. with, etc. etc. And, that could come back inconclusive. It was always couched in, "Well, it sounds like you want to go further in understanding this, so if you wanted to go that route, I'd suggest..."
They would never respond to the specific piece I was telling them, or the question I was asking.
