Lastly, my exercise was going up to the Dolsan Park near my house at the end of February and running 1.5km. I was worried about what if I get a heart attack because my heart flutters because of aerobic exercise. I couldn't think of anything else because exercising was so hard, and I felt good about focusing on exercising. The reason I worked out for a long time was that I didn't want to exercise again even though I just came out of the Korean military. Also, once I exercise, I am so tired, and I am busy these days, and I have a lot of things to do, so I haven't worked out for about a month.

    Hi Jo Sung,

I want to address heart flutters; perhaps it will help you calm down. As long as you are in a normal sinus rhythm (and I’m guessing in the Korean army, your health was checked) then most people do experience the occasional flutter, skipped beat, extra beat etc. I learned this after many fearful years of atrial fibrillation as any minor event re my heart, set me off. My cardiologist has assured me that these minor things occur in nearly everyone, particularly anxious people, but most never even notice. I urge you, however, to see a cardiologist yourself to give you peace.

Exercise can be very good for your anxiety, so go get yourself checked out and run fear-free!

Last word of advice: If you can work on changing your thinking, then you can view the gift you are giving yourself by exercising (maybe fast walking until you regain your confidence). Gifts to ourselves come in many forms, like doing the work on this forum. We are learning to say we are worth it and have real value. No matter how tired running makes you, no matter how busy you are, no matter how hard it is to confront your feelings, these are all examples of making time for yourself because you count!

    This is perfect advice.

I get extra heart beats when I'm stressed. One time, in the middle of the night, they were so strong that my husband could feel them and was alarmed, so I called the 24-hour nurse, who asked all the standard questions and decided I was not having a dangerous cardiac incident. I was told to go to the clinic the next day, but they could not detect anything on an EKG. That incident was "Before Sarno". If I get them now, they are minor and don't last, so I simply remember the previous incident, do some deep breathing, and ignore them.

I did echocardiography and electrocardiography for tachycardia in 2023, and a few days ago, I had blood tests, but I was told that there was nothing wrong with my heart and blood. I was told that I tend to be very nervous. I think it's probably one of the TMS symptoms.
I should try working out today! Thank you for your answer!

Couple hours ago. I try to start every weekday on the threadmill for 20 mins.

I would advise then doing some visualizations. When you're in bed going to sleep or else try to visualize doing your favorite exercises. It might trigger some symptoms but since you're used to exercising, it's probably not going to be anything hard.

I actually can't do push-ups and barbell exercises. The reason is that the pain doesn't come up and the brain fog doesn't get worse. After that, the symptoms such as stress and brain pressure gradually come up, and the brain fog gets worse, so I can't speak well and I can't feel blood between my eyebrows.
I'm not sure if this is also tms, but CT used to say there was no problem.
