SIRPA Practitioner TrainingSponsored by: SIRPA Ltd, the Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association Date and Location: Online. 51 Hours in total. Cost: £556 for the combined practitioner training, which includes Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 Training alone costs £139, but is included free in the combined training. Description: SIRPA’s CPD Practitioner Training Pathway The following is a full breakdown of the practitioner training and all that it involves. Level 1 Introductory CPD Course – This course is an introduction to the concept and evidence, plus some basic strategies. This course is equivalent to 10 CPD hours and costs £139. It can be taken either as a stand alone course or as part of our combined CPD SIRPA training offer. The training is all online, it includes a variety of media to learn from and the pace is completely up to each individual. Level 2 Practitioner CPD Course – This course is available to qualified health professionals and coaches who are regulated by a professional body and have professional indemnity insurance and demonstrates how you can begin to integrate the approach within your current work. All the work is online and therefore students can fit it around their own life with a pace that is right for them. Learning is via video, audio, written material, reflective practise and experiential work. Additional CPD hours is available if students undertake the voluntary assignmentsin this course and feedback on these responses is available from Georgie Oldfield MCSP, Founder of SIRPA. Peer support is available on the membership group on Facebook as well as regular webinars and the course forum on the training platform. Following completion of both Level 1 & 2, the practitioner will be ‘SIRPA Trained‘ and will receive a certificate of completion. The combined course of Level 1 & 2 is equivelent to 51 CPD hours and costs £556. Completion of Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2 and individuals can purchase both Level 1 and 2 courses together at a discounted rate using our combined SIRPA CPD training offer below. Becoming a SIRPA Practitioner “ Practitioners who have completed Level 1 and Level 2 CPD courses will be given the opportunity for further CPD by undertaking 5 case studies with clinical supervision (an additional cost of £60 will be required for each supervision session). As a mark of having completed these a certificate of completion will be provided and the practitioner will be able to call themselves a SIRPA Practitioner. Please Note: The title ‘SIRPA Practitioner‘ denotes having undertaken additional CPD and is not an indication of any level of ability or competence. SIRPA Membership – SIRPA membership allows SIRPA-trained health professionals and coaches, plus SIRPA Practitioners to use the SIRPA logos and have access to additional resource. This inlcudes; our regular peer support and CPD webinars, social media/business builder programmes and discounts etc. The membership is delivered on our training platform as well as via our members’ group on private Facebook Groups.
