- When announcing times, the important thing is to choose a specific time zone - the actual time zone chosen isn't important because most visitors can simply convert to their own time zone. However, US Eastern Time does seem like a logical choice. A large majority of our visitors are from the United States. According to this article, ET is the "Defacto National Time" in the United States. It is also the time zone in New York, and if we had to choose a city that is the hub of TMS, NYC would clearly be it.
