I actually met John Sarno in the late 1990's. I was having terrible hip pain and someone brought him to my attention. I called his office and to my surprise got an appointment the next week. That made me suspicious. Why would such a famous doctor not have a three month wait. I went, had a nice talk where he asked me if I had fallen, been struck by a car. He checked me out and the. Invited me to his lectures. When I walked in John Stossel was in the audience...again I was suspicious. I thought, oh wow, he's doing a story on this because it's a scam. But no, it wasn't. It was amazing. But now all these years later I have relapsed with other issues. It took me three months to finally remember that great doctor I met so long ago. But am struggling to apply the theories again.
