  • My Story

    Hi
My story is very long. I will try to make is brief but include important details. I had mold illness in 2018/2019 after 3 water damage indicents in our home. I had to move out and live with friends. My fear got unbearable and I ended up living in an office building at night when people went home for the night. I was showering at a gym and still going to my job at a church. When they had a mold issue, my brain took over and I was reacting at the church. I ended up having to quit my job. I had to find ways to keep busy all day from 9 - 5 so that I could go back to the office after 5. It was miserable and hopeless.
I found DNRS and did that for over a year. I was not reacting to mold anymore but definitely not cured of my fear.
I had pain in my hips, neck, knees, feet, hands. I found Dr Schubiner and bought the work book and had several visits with him. I was diagnosed with MBS by Dr Schubiner based on all the emotional events in my life.

I ended up with surgery for a new right big toe joint (it was very arthritic as I have been a runner for over 40 years). This surgery was March 10, 2022. I spoke to several of the docs patients who had this surgery done and they were thrilled with the results. I was super pumped. At the 6 month point, the doc and I could see that scar tissue was growing too aggressively around the joint. I had the scar tissue removed on Sept 6, 2022. It is 4.5 months after this surgery. The joint is moving well, yet my pain is getting worse at the incision along the side of my foot. My doctor says all is well with the toe joint and the surgery. I feel CRAZY! I cannot walk for long distances or work out like I used to. I have some major emotional issues currently in my life. It was determined that my son is an alcholic, as was my Dad, Brother and Sister. I am in Al Anon and my son went to about 50 AA meetings but has drank again. He is also in the middle of a divorce.

Can this increase in pain at the surgical site 4.5 months after surgery be MBS?

I am really needing encouragement. Thank You
