My Story
I just recently joined because I just realized a few weeks ago all the moving pains I've been experiencing for the last year just may indeed by TMS! I had it previously when I lived in India and was studying yoga and mediation but didn't learn of Dr. Sarno until AFTER I moved back to the US and was in the most excruciating pain in my cervical spine. I read Healing Back Pain and w/in days, the pain was GONE. I can't say I've followed the treatment well since I still avoid things that are hard on my neck and tend to not do pulling stuff anymore but now that I'm diving back into this, due to current pains (though, literally yesterday, after week of doing some stream of consciousness writing and getting an energy healing from my friend based on shit that turned up in my writings) I'm kinda excited to jump back into this.
I've been a Vipassana meditator (as taught by S.N. Goenka) for 6 years and I'm rather blown away by the insights I get when reading Dr. Sarno's books, as well as now seeing Alan's teachings, how unified they are in approach and theory, TMS stuff is Vipassana just w/ western medical terms throw in.
Anyway - HI! =D - Loading...
