    Hello my friends
I have had lower back spasms for 20 years but it would only happen once or twice a year, which was totally manageable. The spasms usually occur the next day after a workout or sometimes when I would bend forward, or as they call it a forward flexion. But now my life is hell, it spasms almost every time I bend forward. It always feels sore and tight. This has been going on for 8 months. I am obsessed with it and can’t stop thinking about it. I totally believed it was TMS….but decided to be on the safe side and got an MRI, which shows mild disc bulge with focal annular tear. I can’t seem to find much on this site about annular tears. The pain management doc recommends steroid injection. . The thing that bothers me is my symptoms totally match annular tear symptoms. I would like to get a second opinion by a TMS doctor. Has anyone out there been diagnosed with a tear? Thank you !
