  • My Story

13 Months ago I suddenly developed knee pain in bed. It would wake me sometimes at midnight, sometimes at 2am but it woke me every night and when I pressed areas around, trigger points were everywhere in buttocks, trochanter, all down right leg into ankle. Over that time I had x-ray, ultrasound and bone scan. Nothing. I saw therapists in Bowen, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, had acupuncture, laser acupuncture, took pain meds and am currently on Endep 10.

I found TMS on the web and put his book Healing Back Pain on hold at my library back in October. I finally got it last week so MANY Taswegians must be seeking help for pain. I realise that I have TMS as at the time I had many stressors. I have begun to work towards healing and am very hopeful of a complete recovery, particularly as during my worst period I travelled overseas fearing a bad trip but after the first four nights I had absolutely no sign of it again until a week after my return.

I love this forum and from reading some of your stories I feel very lucky to have found this site.wavea
