My Story
Hy everyone.
My name is Débora, I'm 29 and from Brazil.
I have had chronic pain since 2017. Was diagnosted with Fibromialgia in 2019 and, of course, I didn't find too much relief in the traditional medicine.
I found out Sarno's books in late 2022.
I've been on my recovery journey for 3 years now.
Most of the time I feel good, but there are some triggers that keep firing the pain (specially the oldest ones).
I've been seeing a therapist here in Brazil that understands the process, for more than a year now.
Sometimes I get frustrated by how long it's taking.
But I keep going, trusting that someday I'll be pain free.
It's better than a lifetime of symptoms.
I've got my life back - not the oldest one -, a new life that I created which resonates to who I am now.
Even though I still have pain, I've eliminated depression, fatigue, anxiety, acid reflux and abdominal pain, and sleeping issues.
Since I found out about TMS, I wanted to bring the content to Brazil's population (Portuguese speakers). I finally started the project, with an Instagram account named @sindrome.mentecorpo (MindBody Syndrome in PT.)

Is there any Brazilian or Portuguese speakers here?
