My Story
First experienced debilitating low back TMS right before my 40th B-Day that lasted 9 months and it's been back for over a year now and I'll be turning 50 in Oct! (Fear of aging??) Both times the onset not long after lifting something heavy causing me to believe that it's structural.
Read Sarno's 'Healing Back Pain' back in 2005 and it really helped but reading the book again this time & resuming activity the pain got worse. It was a long and depressing Fall/Winter 2013. Read SteveO's book Jan. 2014 and finally started to feel relief. Started working again p/t in March and walking/light jogging and core exercises.
My left side started hurting me at work and hearing sporadic popping sounds in my pelvis/upper left leg and fear took over my mind once again. Gradually been worse since mid August and even more so this last week after seeing a chiropractor 2x and Orthopedic Dr so that says alot! Reading 'Pain Free For Life' now and realizing that I need to do the work (some serious journaling instead of just reading TMS books and powering thru the pain) to get at those unconscious repressed emos. Previously when I started 'Unlearn Your Pain' Workbook exercises thinking about my past traumas made my pain worse so I stopped. Tried EFT with a trained practitioner and thought alot about my past but no relief from that. - Loading...
