My Story
I have had low back pain for nearly a year now, coinciding with the death of my Dad last July. Had xrays of back and left knee, two MRI scans and an injection to the L5/S1 area of spine. Whilst MRI showed slight bulge to L5/S1 I was discharged by my orthopaedic specialist as he felt there was nothing more he could do for me. I am now waiting to see a pain management specialist and rheumatologist, although my bloods are normal.
Update Oct 2015. In addition to lower back pain I now have groin pain and bilateral shoulder pain and neck pain. Had an injection to the left shoulder and having physio. Bloods and urine negative for RA. Pain management has me on nafopam and codeine and paracetomol. Having CBT to cope with pain, recommended antidepressants. Life is hard. - Loading...
