Negative uncontrolled fear thoughts and worries manufacturing physical symptoms in response to trivialities and bad circumstances is a part of the tms mechanism. Understanding how it works and accepting the benign nature of the process is key to getting well.
We need to also accept that our personality type is such that we are always prone to experience psychogenic symptoms or we could do a life change and even change the essence of our negative traits. The key here is that we do not fear our psychological mis - givings -- just correct it over an extended amount of time.
I believe this is what the folks that heal just by reading the book come to realize. It just clicks ( the TMS knowledge) and they heal.
If we recondition our thought and reaction patterns then we can go a long way in reducing our symptoms and never focus on the pain, the body, or trivialities -- you will lose every time.
We accept pain and emotional distress as a benign signal to address our emotional health.

TMS is a process that the brain is very reluctant to give up for sure so the first phase of the reconditioning is a battlefield full of sweat and tears.
TMS will seize whatever opportunities it can to provide symptoms that will grab your attention.
The key is to recondition yourself to accept the set-backs and symptoms rather than fear them, and to go on with your life as if the symptoms do not exist.
Use the ignore method and focus on other parts of your body and watch how your attention will bring feelings to other parts of your body as you learn mindfulness meditation and for the best part, you get to learn how to control your thoughts. 1 lesson and day at a time.
