Thanks for sharing, Mala. I've heard great things about her free ebook, as well.

I tend to think of her stuff as being particularly well appreciated by women. This is not to say that men can't love it as well, but it does bring up the question of whether men and women face different pressures and it may be that women authors understand the pressures that women face and their psychology better than men do. (In the end, all of this comes down to psychology, in my opinion. That's what keeps me interested, as well.)

Another female content producer/author worth checking out is Georgie Oldfield, founder of SIRPA. I've known Georgie for about five years now, and she is a passionate campaigner for TMS who has trained with Dr. Sarno. She's also given her permission for us to upload all of her blog posts to our forum, so we may start seeing more discussion of her content.

Both Georgie and Abigail recovered from their own TMS and have put together their own healing programs. Having brought it up, I'd be really curious to hear what the women on the forum think of the idea of gender and TMS. Is it important to have women doing independent investigations of TMS? If you've looked at some of Georgie or Abigail's stuff, did you find it different? Did it speak to you differently? Let's privilege female voices in the discussion of "gender and TMS." There have been far too many male voices discussing female psychology and women clearly have a lot to add.

(By the way, I don't mean to hijack the conversation and would also love to hear what anyone has to say about Abigail's stuff.)

I'm going to watch the links to both Georgie's and Abigail's sites.

I think it's great that there are sites for women with TMS and do
    believe they're needed.
