I need help. I have purchased the Gupta program and returned it, DNRS and never finished, several books on TMS, watched Youtube videos of all the well known names, and just can't get started. It's overwhelming and I believe my underlying premise is that I can't be helped anyway. I have POTS, EDS and severe neuropathy. Every medical test my naturopath orders gives a positive result--pernicious anemia, hpylori, etc. So my belief is that I am flawed. Can anyone suggest a way to just dive in and stick with it? Thanks

There's a quote by Confucius , "Life is very simple but we insist on making it complicated". While it is true that the mind body landscape has become cluttered with programs (some are gimmicky and only focus on one aspect of the mb experience as well), your brain on doubt is using this as an excuse to say that you can't get better. It's just a lie. It comes down to commitment and deciding you are going to go "all in" with this approach. The process is actually quite simple, though not easy. My advice is to read Dr. Sarno and focus on countering the doubt and this core belief you hold that you are "broken" or "damaged". This is where your work lies. Reversing chronic symptoms all boils down to our belief systems. All the other interventions are tools but not the centerpiece of recovery. Dan Buglio has wonderful videos that simplify and demystify this process. If you need help demolishing these doubts, consider getting one on one coaching. You will need all your questions answered in order to have clarity. If things don't make sense, doubt will continue to use confusion to keep the symptoms and labels going. When we have understanding and the mystery is gone, we automatically feel safe. Right now doubt is clouding the picture so much that no matter what program you follow or what you read, you won't make any inroads. Also stop going to practitioners like naturopaths who only foster more fear and misinformation and pseudo science. Doubt haas a field day with that sort of thing. Avoid online groups and message boards blaring the labels you mentioned and stop all online researching.
