Groin has been bothering me , i did not pull anything. I beat back pain (from barely walking 3 months to 3 half marathons and 1 marathon), shoulder, in the past. Maybe after a few years ive gotten lazy in my self awareness. I have not been to the doc . unless its a hernia (have no symptoms visible bulge) i cant see it not being tms. Just venting . I started re reading mindbody prescription and thinking psychologically.

Good luck. The groin/pelvic area has been "in vogue" for pain it seems the last 5+ years. Kinda like how stomach ulcers were in vogue from the 70s to 80s and immediately followed by back pain. What can I say, we are susceptible to outside influence.

Of course you should always get checked out if you think there is something wrong.

I'm glad we're still here for you, @intense50, so for better or worse, welcome again - and of course, go ahead and vent - although it sounds like you know what to do :D

PS - I just read your original story, and it's a good one. It really illustrates how this stuff can build up for a long time.

Check out the thread on the recurrence of hip pain where I've posted my situation recently. Mostly groin pain for me. My view is unless you've suffered an acute injury, definitely don't get any imaging done. I made this mistake and dug myself quite the hole to get out of, as you'll see in my thread.
