Has anyone got rid of hayfever with TMS methods?

I get it bad during June and July - grass pollen season.

It’s almost impossible to believe it’s a mindbody thing when it’s so clearly linked to pollen levels

Also currently I’m on holiday in Greece. When I go on holiday abroad I don’t get hayfever. Before you say it’s because I’m relaxed, I find holidays very stressful and my pain generally gets worse. Hayfever goes away though because of different grass or being nearer to the sea

Most of what we call allergies are really our body overreacting to a substance that is benign to most/many people. So it's an overly defensive immune response. My official diagnosis from an allergist was Nasal Sensitivity Syndrome, which is just medicalize for TMS. I've had periods when I've gotten rid of it, but mostly I just take anti-histamines and/or use steroidal spray and ignore it.

So try to enjoy your holiday and enjoy this period of being allergy-free.

I'm trying not to be jealous. I've always wanted to go to Greece. :)

Allergies have been the toughest TMS one for me.
From a purely logical standpoint, as @Ellen said, since allergies are an overreaction of the immune system, it shouldn't be that hard to get our immune systems to stop over reacting. But it sure seems to be.

The only thing I've been able to stop so far is my reaction to kinda sorta allergy-like reaction to smells.
I've been able to stop that by re-associating the smells to something positive. For example instead of saying, omg, those flowers are soooo strongly scented, I make myself thing, those flowers remind me of that happy time when I first moved to this tropical locale. And I bring up and evoke the feelings that I had at that time.
But meanwhile I'm sitting right now with my nose stuffed up and my eyes leaking.
My eyes leaking feels like tears so maybe there is some TMS-y connection.

Have a great vacation! Enjoy the break from the allergies too!
