My doctor just diagnosed me with May Thurner syndrome but I’m leaning more towards the TMS causing my venous issues. Do we have anyone here who has a success story of TMS after a May Thurner diagnosis and/or venous issues.
    Thanks,

Hello. I was “diagnosed” with pelvic congestion syndrome which is a venous issue. However, it just never made any sense to me because the physical symptoms pointed toward TMS. Luckily, when I was “diagnosed” I was already accepting all my symptoms as TMS. A few months into doing the work, the symptoms went away.

@HealingMe thanks for your reply. I believe mine is TMS as well. I did read some of your recovery story and was curious which method you found the best out of EFT, reading about TMS, meditation, and journaling.

or did you just do all in conjunction everyday?

That's a great question. I feel like it's difficult for me to pinpoint what the exact one thing was that worked for me, however I will say the one thing that really sticks out to me is to just go back to living life and doing things without fear. At the time I also went on an antidepressant because I just couldn't get myself out of the deep depression I was going through. It helped me get back on the right foot while I continued do the emotional work. Journaling was initially what I started with. Then I found Dan Buglio on Youtube and he resonated with me so I watched a video daily in conjunction with journaling. Then I stopped with the excessive journaling, as the constant digging & trying to uncover the one thing would fix it all began to just feel counterproductive.

I still write things down a few times a week, but it's bulleted and straight to the point, and takes less than 5 minutes. I find this very effective for me. A couple months ago I started EFT tapping on Youtube. I don't know the science behind it but it I tried it, and it really gets me to open up. I do 5 - 10min videos. The shorter the better for me, and that's just me. Then I go about my day. That's what works for me now and that's what I continue to do. Right now I'm experimenting to try to incorporate meditation a couple times a week in the morning while I do red light therapy (purely for skin and aesthetic benefits). I like the routine.

    TLDR:
There is no right or wrong way of doing things (well, unless you're not doing any emotional work). If you read through the forum you'll notice how each person is different and recovered/is recovering differently. The main thing is to start with something, and modify/change course as you need! :)
