Thinking Good Thoughts Into the Future

If I can think 1 hour into the future and line that image up with my lifes purpose and goals I often have great success.
Like now I will often imagine how situations will turn out before I get there to make an impact. I had a friend that could never get in Wal-mart and out in less that 30 minutes to an hour. I told him the other day to see himself walking through the doors of Wal-mart getting his groceries and then walking up to a line with only 1 person in the line. He was in and out in like 10 minutes. I said "was there just 1 person in the line", he smiled and said "no -- there was no one in the line."
He has done this now with getting parking spots and getting home on time and now he is starting to see himself in better health angd healing. He said if it works with traffic at Wal-mart then it will work anywhere, he amazed at his new found power.

In the past I would have all of these thoughts about awful outcomes and worry till the cows came home over all sorts of lifes experiences.
I remember one time I was going to trade my car for another car and I just had this terrible feeling that would be in my system as I played over and over these images that his car was a lemon.
This was not a gut warning either, it was me agreeing with my own thoughts of self doubt and fear.

I remember the times when I was healing and before I'd get up to walk or study or talk or do business. I would always play out everything as it was going to happen exactly the way I wanted it too in my imagination. Then when I did do this it almost always turned out exactly how I had imagined with my thoughts. ( not always but mostly always)
I didn't use hope or prayers for this although I use hope and prayers often for other endeavors. I just used a knowing that what I imagined as my intended outcome was going to happen, Period -- and the success there has been great.
I learned this years ago with hit and miss, but I remember how I would think about my body being strong as I was in recovery from tms. I would imagine myself exercising and then I would go and exercise and have great workouts.
Remember all the times you would set and worry yourself into a frenzy over something that was just a part of your imagination but you felt as if the party or whatever situation really was going to be disaster and it turned that way, well in your emotions and vitality anyway.
Instead of worrying in these situation project your thoughts 1 hour into the future and plan it the way you want it to be.
That is how it works except you use it to see and feel yourself getting stronger, better and more insightful in each step of your journey.

    Bless you

Thinking about a positive outcome to any situation is a great thing to practice doing.

I have a great friend who gave me his version of it and I use it as a mantra:
"I can do this. It's a piece of cake!"

When I'm fearful about anything, that's what I tell myself. It fills me with strength and courage.

Great thought Walt. Super, I love to see it play out in my minds eye. Like our book for instance, every time I think of it. I think of it helping someone understand better and I see it helping them become pain free. That thought right there fills my heart with joy and gives me a sense of gratitude for that thought stream.
    Bless You

I like that one, Walt. I'll have to use it...............and then treat myself to a piece of cake each time I'm successful!

Yes, I can do it, is great but when you say it's a piece of cake? Then does that mean you imagine the cake your going to eat?:)
